Biography

First prize and gold medal winner of the international H. Szeryng competition (2008), winner of J. Brahms competition (2008), lithuanian violinist Dalia Kuznecovaite started playing the violin at the age of four. Dalia Kuznecovaite has worked with conductors such as M. Rostropovich, M. Sanderling, M. Diadiura, E. Batiz, F. Mastrangelo, S. Sondeckis, A. Poga, E. Korkmaz.

The violinist has been the primaria of Vilnius String Quartet since December of 2015.

As a soloist, the violinist, takes an active part in concerts, held in many countries of Europe and America . From time to time Dalia used to join the Symphony Orchestra “Deutsche Radio”, “Norddeutsche Philarmonie” (Germany), Symphony Orchestra “Kärtner” (Austria), Philharmonic Orchestra Kiew (Ukraine), The State Hermitage Orchestra from St. Petersburg, Qatar Philharmonic Orchestra, Calgary Philharmonic Orchestra (Canada), the Lithuanian National Symphony Orchestra, the Lithuanian Chamber Orchestra Sczecin Philharmonic Orchestra (Poland), Mexico Philharmonic Orchestra, Guanajuato Philharmonic Orchestra (Mexico), Monterrey Symphony Orchestra (Mexico), Symphony Orchestra Languedoc Roussillon (France).

Dalia Kuznecovaite was born in Vilnius, where she studied at the M. K. Ciurlionis Art School (with Prof. B. Smidtiene and J. Urba). 2004 to 2007, she has been studying at the Higher Music School in Köln (with Prof. Z. Bron). From 2007 to 2012 she studied at the Higher Music and Theater School in Rostock (Prof. P. Munteanu). From 2012 to 2015; she studied at National Conservatory in Paris (Prof. B. Garlitsky and Prof. S. Roussev); was awarded the best grades by jury and the special prize at completion of the latter.

Dalia has been a grantee of M. Rostropovich’s Fund since the year 2004.

2015 Miss Kuznecovaite won a scolarship of “Banque Populaire” Fund (Paris).

Dalia is playing french violin “Paul Bailly 1881”.
